During the snowy days of early February 2019, I created a series of paintings using Sarcococca berries from a Bellingham garden and melted snow. The qualities of the snow water caused the sarcococca's hues to cool and allowed me to add delicate, transparent details.
The paper for this 8x10 inch print is very nice- luxuriously textured, 100% cotton, acid and lignin-free... think thick, fancy watercolor-like paper.
