From my Collecting Colorways series, an exploration of natural pigments in Whatcom County. These pigments were sourced from a single backyard in the Cornwall Park neighborhood of Bellingham, Washington. Privet berries, early rose hips and chard stems create the blues, pinks and tawny hues you see in these transparent layers.
The paper for this 18x24 inch print is very nice- luxuriously textured, 100% cotton, acid and lignin-free... think thick, fancy watercolor paper.
